Our Electromate is a round, silver plated brass disc with four symetrically arranged Multilam contact bands, which guarantee the best possible contact with minimal contact resistance. The Electromate can be sandwiched between static as well as dynamic bus bar joints, and is therefore ideal for pivoting contact joints.

Flat contact surfaces of overlapping bus bar connections do not ensure a reliable current transmission due to the fact that there are only a few defined contact points between the contact surfaces. Few contact points cause heat build-up, accelerated oxidation, increased contact resistance, and in the worst case contact failure. Our SEALconTACT was developed to address these issues. With a design based on our Multilam Principle, it guarantees an optimal current transmission with low, and stable contact resistance.
